What is happening.
What is changing in trade and commodities.
- 01
Origin per lot
CBAM has applied since 1 January 2026 to iron, steel and aluminium, among others, and the EUDR follows on 30 December 2026, or 30 June 2027 for small companies. You must be able to show the origin of every lot.
- 02
Waste shipments digital only
Since 21 May 2026, you can only notify cross-border waste shipments digitally. The data is already in the order and the weighbridge ticket, but is entered again.
- 03
Prices that keep moving
Purchase prices and base metal prices change often. Customer prices have to move with them, so the margin per order is right.
- 04
Identification at the counter
For cash purchases of metal, you record the seller’s ID for the buyers’ register. Retyping at the counter takes time and causes errors.
Where it can be better.
Six processes from day-to-day operations in wholesale, recycling and commodities trading.
- How it works now
- Quotes and orders arrive by email, PDF, photo or phone and are entered by hand.
- What could be better
- Items and customer prices matched to the order faster and without errors.

All processesThe system proposes. You decide.
The system reads, checks and prepares. A person decides what happens.
| Process | What the system does | Who decides |
|---|---|---|
| Order entry | What the system does: Orders from email, PDF and photos read and matched to your items. With the customer price alongside. | Who decides: Inside sales chooses the item. |
| Customer prices and margin | What the system does: See the margin per order before you confirm, even when the copper price moves. With an alert when a customer price drops below the limit. | Who decides: The account manager decides on the price. |
| From weighbridge to invoice | What the system does: Every lot from weigh-in to invoice in one trail. Weighing, grading, price and identification together. | Who decides: The weighbridge operator checks the ID and pays out. |
| Notifying waste shipments | What the system does: Notifications and Annex VII from the data you already have. Ready to submit in DIWASS. | Who decides: Export administration checks and submits. |
| Quality claims | What the system does: When a claim comes in, the evidence per lot is ready. Photos, weighing and grading from your own trail. | Who decides: The salesperson decides how to reply to the buyer. |
| Origin and due diligence | What the system does: Proof of origin per supplier and lot, all in one place. For CBAM, EUDR and the sanctions lists. | Who decides: Compliance reviews the file, the purchaser requests the data. |
Compliance you can prove.

We connect to what is there, or build alongside it where the package is too heavy or too rigid.
Where we are not the right fit
For purely paper or exchange-based trading, we are not the right partner. We build for the physical flow: receiving, weighing, grading and selling.
Questions.
About costs, time, integrations and ownership.
What does it cost?
Most systems we build cost between €10,000 and €40,000, one-off. Support is about 3 to 5% of that, per month. After the prototype you get a fixed price, before you sign anything.
How long does it take?
We set that after the prototype, per phase. We do not give a timeframe before then.
How much of our time does it take?
One owner who makes the decisions, and a few users who review and test during the build. We agree the exact amount per project.
Does it connect to our ERP and Microsoft?
Yes. Users sign in with their own Microsoft account and MFA. We set out in the proposal which ERP and file integrations are included.
Who owns the software?
You do. The rights transfer per phase, once that phase is paid. No licence.
Where is it hosted?
In the EU, encrypted: EU hosting with ISO 27001-certified partners.
Who maintains it?
We do, under an SLA. Or you do: the documentation is written for that.
People
You talk to the people who build it: Jelle, Mike and Jeroen. No account manager, no middleman.
